2010 Bone and Joint Decade International Video Award

For the 4th year running, the Bone and Joint Decade presents its International Video Award. This prize recognises the most innovative and creative video presentations produced in BJD member countries aimed at delivering messages to the public about musculoskeletal health.
Each year all BJD National Action Networks are invited to submit short videos which have been produced by the Network or by the national health department or other charity for public service and information. The themes of the videos may be any topic which falls into the realm of the BJD target areas and should echo the goals of the Decade; for instance, the role of the seatbelts in road traffic injury prevention, the role of good nutrition in osteoporosis prevention, and so on. | 2010 Winners:

2009 WINNER:
During the 2009 Annual World Network Conference
in Washington DC the entry videos were featured in a special screening for
conference delegates, and the following was chosen as the best: USA American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons: 'Joints Don't Jump'
AIM:
• To encourage National Action Networks and individuals to develop public information campaigns which promote the Decade’s goals in the form of edited videos. • To share local experience and innovative ideas about successful messages directly related to musculoskeletal health and science.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN 2010:
We strongly encourage you to share the video productions produced in your country which fall under the broad themes mentioned above and which you feel have had an impact. We can accept your video submissions until August 30, 2010. They should be submitted as hard copies (on CD or DVD), posted to: Bone and Joint Decade Secretariat Department of Orthopedics Lund University Hospital SE 221 85 Lund, Sweden
