Bone and Joint Japan (BJ-J) elects Dr. Keishi Marumo, Professor, JIKEI University School of Medicine, as President on February 16, 2019 to succeed Dr. Yukihide Iwamoto.

Dr. Marumo aims to pursue the BJ-J’s ongoing major objectives:
- Hosting the Japanese National Award to promote public awareness of G-MUSC’s initiative, Keep people moving.
- Publishing of the quarterly magazine Moving (in Japanese).
BJ-J under his leadership will also continue several other key projects such as musculoskeletal examination at primary and middle schools, emergency injury care system, injury prevention of growing children and prevention of secondary fragility fracture.
